Please note: This is an irregular on-call category position and you will work zero to 36.25 hours per week, depending on operational requirements, with no guaranteed hours About the job Working in the field, you will:
- execute writs, warrants and orders of the court ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations
- compile and receive goods and monetary amounts to satisfy judgment
- prepare reports and court documents
- attend at evictions and provide related services
- act as Process Server by receiving documents to be served and by effecting personal service as ordered by the court Please note the following:
- there may be a requirement to work weekends and/or occasional evening shifts.
- this position requires frequent travel
- the candidate is required to successfully complete training on self-defense and tactical communications for ministry certification on use of self-defense Mandatory requirements
- The position requires the successful candidate to have a valid G driver's license or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario. The offer of employment is conditional upon the successful candidate providing proof that they have a valid driver's license upon being hired. Specialized Knowledge

- understand functions of the Ontario court system, legal terminology and documentation
