Blakes is seeking a Tax Associate (third- to sixth-year call) to join the Vancouver office of its preeminent national Tax practice. We would like to speak to candidates who have a keen interest in tax and relevant experience at a large firm or a smaller tax-focused firm.
The Blakes Tax group provides an exceptional opportunity for its associates to develop strong legal and client-services skills through its highly sought-after tax planning and advisory work. The group offers impressive capabilities in M&A transactions, capital market transactions, real estate, private equity, investment funds, financing, transfer pricing, commodity tax and employee benefits. The group also has significant experience dealing with tax audits and disputes with tax authorities.
As an integral practice at Blakes, the Tax group works seamlessly with all lawyers across every practice area and industry to provide invaluable domestic and international tax advice. Our Tax associates get the opportunity to work with some of the top lawyers in Canada and some of the most prominent Canadian and international companies.
