The Director Talent Management and Development is responsible for establishing the strategy, planning and deployment of talent training and development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, as well as Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) programs. The director will ensure the alignment of these programs with business strategy and corporate initiatives as well as strategic human capital orientations.**How Agropur invests in YOU:*** Recognition of years of service for vacation calculation* Flexible group insurance plan including telemedicine services* Retirement plan with company contributions* Salary scale 008: $135,500 to $169,400 (Base salary will be determined based on academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills)**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**Promote a strong culture of talent development and appreciation, and skills development by leveraging innovative and proven strategies. **Other Duties and Responsibilities:** - Supervisory Responsibilities * Responsible for employee relations including work direction of employees, hiring, training, performance reviews, administering policies and procedures, disciplinary action, and compensation recommendations. * Direct implementation of departmental objectives, goals and policies. * Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and guidelines.*This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.* **Qualifications:****Education Required:*** Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development or related field required.* Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.**Experience Required:*** Minimum fifteen (15) years of professional experience in organizational development, training or talent management.* Minimum of five (5) years of management experience required.* Fluency in French and English required.* Knowledge of the manufacturing sector preferred, ideally in food processing.**Skills Required:*** Dedication to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with customers in mind.* Knowledge in business acumen, understanding of current and future policies, practices, trends, technology and information.* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with executives, managers, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.* Is proactive in considering staffing and succession needs.* High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.* High level of leadership skills including strategic thinking, fostering teamwork, cultivating relationships, and demonstrable experience leading teams through change.* Ability to provide leadership and positively influence other team members.* Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.* Sees ahead clearly, can anticipate future consequences and trends accurately, has broad knowledge and perspective, is future oriented, can articulately paint credible pictures and visions, can create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans.* Communicates a compelling vision or core purpose; can talk about future and possibilities; create mileposts to rally support behind the vision and for everyone to share; can inspire and motivate entire units or organizations.#salarie#LI-PB1
