Responsibilities include identifying, screening and recruitment of study participants, obtaining informed consent as approved by the Research Ethics Board, data collection, coordination of participant study visits, biospecimen coordination, liaising with sponsors and internal and external stakeholders, study database management, regulatory file maintenance, preparation of ethics submissions, other research related tasks as assigned.**What you bring:*** Completion of a Bachelor’s degree program or recognized equivalent in Health or Science related discipline* Education in Clinical Research and/or certification as a Clinical Research Professional (e.g. SOCRA, ACRP) preferred* 2 years related experience, in a hospital environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a dynamic environment* Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, with particular attention to detail.* Proficient in MS Windows environment (Word, Excel, Power Point).* Innovative and willing to learn* Excellence in communication, both written and verbal* Demonstrated problem solving skills* Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork* Adherence to **regulatory requirements**, GCP, REB procedures.Southlake Health is fully committed to a culture of belonging and an inclusive environment that encourages every team member to lead within their role, generate innovative ideas that reinforce our mission and goal to create a healthy workplace where our community can thrive.Regular and reliable attendance is an expected requirement of this position.We are committed to a selection process and work environment that is inclusive and barrier-free.
