Both brands offer a full line of solid, dependable, irrigation products including controllers, sensors, valves, spray heads and rotors to help customers care for golf courses, sports fields, public green spaces, commercial and residential properties. Unique Lighting Systems is a leading brand of professional grade lighting fixtures, low voltage transformers, LED lamps and the patented HUB system for installation. Serving both residential and commercial markets, Unique Lighting Systems offers a full line of outdoor lighting products. The Irrigation Division has an opening for a Golf Sales Manager for the Canadian territory. In this position, you will be responsible for sales, which includes providing leadership to the territory and Distributor Partners and ultimately creating and fulfilling demand for Toro's Golf Irrigation product lines. What Will You Do?  In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for the following responsibilities: · Manage assigned territory to deliver fiscal year Sales Plan goals in terms of top line revenue (Gross and Net Sales of Golf Whole Goods), profitability and related category targets (e.g. NSN, Parts, Controller Repair, Sales Programs). · Drive business through personal efforts and through coordination with Toro Distributor Partners, personnel and supporting assets. · Work within cross functional teams within Toro including, Field Service, NSN, Commercial Equipment, Corporate Accounts, Toro Res/Com and allied vendors. · Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Director to execute plans to influence regional golf specifiers including key Golf Course Superintendents and rising Assistant Superintendents that results in Toro becoming their product of choice. · Support efforts to provide information regarding Toro products to the specifier. Includes product training, relationship building, targeted relationship building events, specifier targeted literature and reference material. · Identify and coordinate efforts on top renovation and new course projects for the territory each fiscal year. · Develop account plans for all key projects in assigned territory, including projects outside the current fiscal year and actionstosecure the business for Toro such as Fly-Ins, Site Visits, presentations, trade show memo's and training. Create and implement a contact call target plan. · Travel with and develop distributor sales personnel. · Is a resource for distributor management and field sales. · Deliver high level presentations to superintendents, general managers, greens committees and memberships to help secure project wins. · Communicate and partner with the Toro golf marketing and product management team. Help drive our overall marketing message and narrative to influencers/specifiers and key superintendents. · Coordinates the distributor planning process, which includes the development of key objectives, strategies and action plans to increase Toro golf share in the respective region. · Assess and report on the regional market, market segments, product categories, competitive strategies and customer requirements in a timely manner or as required. · Manage our SalesForce database for the assigned territory to provide strategic and tactical direction for sales, marketing, production scheduling and in support of new product development. Provide regular distributor golf sales forecasts. Job Dimensions: Leads efforts to drive profitable growth, market share and customer satisfaction Maintains close relationship with key influencers/specifiers, distributor management, and strategic partners. Develops strong communication with all appropriate personnel in Toro including other sales managers and marketing personnel. Be aware and inform management of market information in support of our new product development and competitive strategy processes.   What Do You Need?  To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:  ·  Successful candidate will have a minimum of both a HS Diploma and Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, agronomy or related field (or Canadian equivalent) · We require a minimum of 5 years technical sales experience. Experience in the irrigation or similar industry is highly desirable. - Position requires fluency in spoken and written English. · Training in irrigation, turf, agronomy or landscape design is a plus, Must have proven track record of exceptional leadership and teaming skills. · Candidate must possess strong negotiation skill, and a demonstrated ability to influence/train customer groups and deliver dynamic presentations. · The duties of this position will occasionally require working in outdoor and inclement weather conditions. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $110,000 - $158,000 CAD. There is also eligibility for a yearly bonus and automobile allowance program. Pour être considéré pour ce rôle, un individu doit répondre aux exigences minimales suivantes :
• Le candidat retenu aura au minimum un diplôme d'études secondaires et un baccalauréat en commerce, ventes, marketing, agronomie ou domaine connexe (ou équivalent canadien).
• Nous exigeons un minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en vente technique. Une expérience dans l'industrie de l'irrigation ou une industrie similaire est fortement souhaitable. le poste nécessite la maîtrise de la langue anglaise
• Une formation en irrigation, en gazon/turf, en agronomie ou en conception paysagère est un plus. Le candidat doit avoir un historique prouvé de compétences exceptionnelles en leadership et en travail d'équipe.
• Le candidat doit posséder de solides compétences en négociation et une capacité démontrée à influencer/former des groupes de clients et à faire des présentations dynamiques.
• Les fonctions de ce poste nécessiteront occasionnellement de travailler à l'extérieur et dans des conditions météorologiques défavorables.
