Who we're looking for:

Rogers is seeking an experienced and creative Solutions Architect to lead design activities for customer-facing solutions, focused on enterprise networking and LAN/WAN integration. This role can be based in any city with a Rogers business office and is primarily focused on post-sales implementation of complex projects, providing opportunity for variety and growth depending on your skills and initiative. The Solutions Architect will play a key role in the design and implementation of the LAN integration of private LTE/5G solutions for Rogers' industrial and mining customer base.

What you'll do:

1. Act as a technical SME in executing discovery of customer environments and requirements.
2. Act as technical authority in creating comprehensive solution designs for network deployments and integration with customer LAN/WAN environments.
3. Create solution documentation and provide guidance and support to implementation teams.

What you bring:

1. 5+ years’ experience in a technology role.
2. 3+ years’ experience in a network architecture role within a complex environment.
3. Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex network solutions.
4. Expertise in LAN/WAN technologies; routing, switching, firewall and high availability solutions.
5. Experience with multi-vendor integration and complex environments.
6. Experience in a customer-facing delivery role.
7. Experience in designing and deploying solutions based on Meraki, Cisco, and Fortinet technologies.
8. Experience with Nokia routers is nice to have.

Education / Certification:

1. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience required.
2. Certification in Meraki networking technologies preferred (CMSS).
3. Certification in Cisco networking technologies preferred (CCNP, CCIE).
4. Certification in Fortinet firewall technologies preferred (NSE).
5. Other industry-recognized certifications nice to have (ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF, etc).

Office Location is Brampton Campus but open to any current Rogers location.
