Overview

As a Senior Consultant, you will be involved with client projects from initial scoping of the customer engagement through to the final software installation and customer acceptance. You will assist the engagement manager, analysts, and technical consultants in the gathering and defining of client requirements to implement various Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Systems and Technology. This role is the key liaison between the customer and our business and technical teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Development of business requirements including folder taxonomy, user and group permissions, records management, workflow processes, and system settings.
- Development of testing scripts, including instructions, and expected outputs.
- Development of change management and training materials to assist the customer with adoption.
- Assist in the configuration, testing, and support of the OpenText Content Server and/or Microsoft SharePoint ECM systems.
- Facilitate and coordinate User Acceptance Testing.
- Facilitate meetings between the customer and the technical team.
- Generate routine project status reports.
- Establish long-term client relationships with clear communications channels.
- Mentor Consultants and Analysts.
- Participate in the sales cycle, assisting the sales team with demonstrations and other requirements.

Skills

- Willingness to collaborate and research to select the most efficient approach to a business problem.
- Ability to remain organized and balance demands on multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical topics in an accessible way.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- Degree or Diploma in related field.
- AIIM or ARMA Certifications is desirable.

Performance Expectations

· Acts as a team leader and helps steer team(s) toward the stated team goals.

· Works closely with the Project Manager to manage aspects of the project such as schedule, budget, status reports, risks, client temperature, and management reporting.

· Asks questions and makes the best effort to learn and understand new topics related to the scopes of work they are responsible for.

· Demonstrates expert-level technical configuration skills in OpenText Content Server and Microsoft SharePoint.

· Has oversight into all deliverables on a project and is able to call out and remediate potential blockages. Reviews all deliverables for quality before management sign-off.

· Delivers high quality deliverables on-time and on-budget. Is considered the exemplar for the team on the expectations of quality and timeliness.

· Takes ownership of deliverables, using experience to improve efficiency during the development of deliverables. Deliverables are consistently high quality.

· Identifies gaps in knowledge or experience and asks highly targeted questions to improve quality. Asks questions with assumptions in place, demonstrating base knowledge and providing a more targeted gap for the answerer.

· Is a highly effective communicator and facilitator to clients and internal teams.

· Can confidently and expertly articulate the approach to designing an Information Management system, as well as the key components of Information Management system design (such as the Information Architecture).

· Takes leadership roles in the sales cycle, including configuring and providing demonstrations, creating Statements of Work, and Proposals. Is the owner of at least one client relationship and has the capability to own more than one.

- · Consistently acts as a leader and mentor for other Cadence staff.
