Our client, a well-established, stable food distribution company, is seeking a dynamic Customer Care Representative to join their growing team. This position is crucial in ensuring customers receive the highest level of service and support. You will be responsible for handling inquiries, resolving issues, gathering customer information, and providing assistance to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The Role:

1. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
2. Assist customers with product information, order status, and delivery inquiries.
3. Accurately enter customer orders into the system, ensuring all information is complete and correct.
4. Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and improve the overall customer experience.
5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database.
6. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of customer care policies and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Successful candidates for this position will have a background in customer service B2B order desk roles, with experience in handling customer inquiries and resolving issues. Preference given to those with industry experience in distribution/manufacturing.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in computer usage, including email and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Previous experience in customer service, call center, or a related field is preferred.
7. Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
8. Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
