As a key contributor you will be part of a leading team to drive and enhance AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.   THE PERSON: The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for Software engineering development, and is diligent and passionate about Technology. A successful candidate will need to employ strong knowledge in computer technologies, leadership skills in technical areas, and SW engineering expertise as well as a strong ability to compete effectively in a fast-paced, relevant environment while working with different teams of engineers and collaborators.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines (batch and streaming) that deliver high-quality, time-series and feature datasets for forecasting use cases.Develop and manage data models optimized for analytical workloads (star/snowflake, wide feature tables, time-series aggregations) to support forecasting and planning.Partner with Data Science/Forecasting teams to productionize feature engineering, data versioning, and training/inference data readiness workflows.Build and maintain orchestration workflows (e.g., Airflow/Dagster) with CI/CD, automated testing, and environment promotion standards.Ensure governance and security controls (access management, PII handling, retention policies) while enabling self-service analytics for forecasting stakeholders. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 5+ years building production-grade data pipelines and data platforms, with strong focus on time-series/forecasting data preparation and feature generation. Advanced SQL and strong programming skills in Python (data transformations, pipeline frameworks, testing, performance profiling).Experience supporting forecasting/ML workflows: feature stores or feature management patterns, dataset versioning, model-data monitoring, and reproducible pipelines.Strong understanding of time-series concepts relevant to forecasting data (seasonality, calendar effects, hierarchical dimensions, slowly changing dimensions, leakage prevention).Practical experience with orchestration and reliability practices (Airflow/Prefect, SLAs, backfills, idempotency, retries, observability/alerting). ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline  #LI-DNI  Benefits offered are described:  AMD benefits at a glance. AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
