JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Systems Design Engineer to join a top automation client on a 12 month contract. you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical design of nuclear tooling and equipment, and taking overall design responsibility for compliance with functional and performance requirements as well as industry/regulatory/safety codes and standards. You will participate in design activities, design reviews, perform calculations/analysis/simulations to verify requirements, and take engineering responsibility for the design as defined by PEO guidelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design/engineering.

Proficient in SolidWorks. Capable of designing tooling from sketches or verbal concepts.

Strong ability to conceptualize and create solutions from complex design requirements.

Thorough knowledge of drafting principles.

P.Eng

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in nuclear industry, working in compliance with CSA N299, N286, or N285 standards.
