Site: Shared Health - 330 Portage Avenue Department / Unit: Digital Shared Services - Project Management Office Job Stream: Non-Clinical Union: Non Union Anticipated Start Date: ASAP FTE: 1.00 Anticipated Shift: Days Work Arrangement: Hybrid Daily Hours Worked: 7.75 Annual Base Hours: 2015 Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Experience - 8 years of progressive management experience in a large, 24/7/365, geographically dispersed digital services organization specializing in providing clinical, business, infrastructure and/or enterprise architecture solutions and supports, preferably in the health-care sector, including: - 5 years of experience managing client services focused on maintaining a wide range of complex computer systems and information infrastructure in a shared services environment. - 3 years of experience implementing annual operating plans focused on client service and leading multiple project teams. - 3 years of experience influencing mid and senior management, key stakeholders, and collaborating with vendors on outsourced services. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) - Post-secondary degree in technology, computer science, engineering, or digital health/clinical informatics from an accredited educational institution. - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Certification/Licensure/Registration - Active member in good standing with an associated regulatory body as appropriate. - Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg. - Interruptions to respond to questions are common; dedicated and focused time for planning and concentration can be scheduled. - Travel throughout the province requiring a valid Manitoba driver’s license and use of a personal motor vehicle.
