Remitly is moving quickly to offer new financial products to our customers and authentication is the critical front door to each one of these offerings. As Engineering Manager for the Authentication Platform team you will lead a team of engineers to deliver on an ambitious, dynamic roadmap while investing in a scalable, high quality platform. You will report to the Engineering Director within the Identity & Trust organization.**You Will:*** Create a culture of customer centricity, fast-paced delivery and technical excellence within the team* Partner closely with the product manager to establish the platform vision and set quarterly OKRs* Build strong relationships with the many stakeholder teams who depend on the platform’s capabilities* Balance delivery of incremental features that stakeholders need while also investing in long-term platform stability and quality**You Have:*** A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.* 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams* Experience with the entire people management lifecycle - hiring, coaching, promotions, performance management* Experience collaborating with other functions and with a large number of stakeholder teams* [Optional] Experience with authentication or adjacent domainsCompensation Details.The starting base salary range for this position is $148,000-$185,000. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
