Constructing, troubleshooting and testing prototyping assemblies – they do it all, which means that our global reputation as innovators is assured.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a **Engineering Technician 3** on our **Lab Support Engineering** Team in **Ottawa, Canada****What you’ll achieve** As an **Engineering Technician 3**, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining the infrastructure in a lab environment. This includes installation and cabling, hardware reconfigurations and asset and inventory management. You will be working with the latest servers and switches and learning the newest technologies. You will work alongside other members of our team to provide excellent service to the engineers who are using the hardware in our labs, so they can accomplish their goals as quickly as possible.**You will:*** Be responsible for ensuring proper installation and cabling of servers, networking switches, storage arrays and radios as well as hardware reconfigurations* Manage asset and consumables inventory; documenting and labeling assets and cabling* Assist in the maintenance of the datacenter environment as needed and ensure that any issues are identified and resolved* Maintain a working knowledge of all documented procedures* Replace system hardware by following documented processes**Take the first step towards your dream career** Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
