We are hiring a Client Advisor, Personal Lines, to support our growing Team

This role is for someone with exceptional organizational abilities and people skills who wants to become a licensed broker within 3-6 months (if you are not a Registered Insurance Broker within Ontario). This essential role in our organization directly supports our growing base of incredible clients. What you would do:

- Process new insurance applications and policy modifications within our insurance
partners’ web portals.

- Assist in the internal auditing process as directed by the Personal Lines Manager.

- Complete quote requests in our quotation management systems as directed.

- Compile electronic application packages for brokers.

- Document all client activity in our Broker Management System.

- Present options for the necessary automobile, property, marine, etc. policies to ensure clients can make informed decisions.

- Identify ongoing coverage needs or opportunities for existing clients regarding their policies, including thorough renewal reviews.

- Assist clients with policy-related changes and inquiries.

- Navigate the claims process with clients when a loss is incurred.

- Research and resolve client problems, acting as the client liaison between insurers when necessary.

- Keep apprised of industry trends, changes, and opportunities as they relate to our clients.

- Accurate: crossing our t’s and dotting our i’s is vital to meeting our customers’ needs and is integral to this position. We have all employees complete an assessment to benchmark their abilities.

What your background would look like:

- Minimum 1 year working as a RIB is ideal but we are ready to train and help with the licensing path.

- Post-secondary education that is complementary to a related industry is desired.

- CAIB designation is valued but not compulsory.

- Experience with client management software and sales training is valued.

- Proficiency in Office 365 and basic technical competency are expected.
