What you will do as a Fraud Analyst:

- Lead the review of all Fraud Investigation Tickets and all Fraud Review Tags initiated in relation to applications and/or customers

- Clearing applications and customers of fraudulent behaviour before allowing the associated application(s) to proceed; or identifying fraudulent behaviour and logging their findings accordingly

- Host formal and informal Fraud Training Classes internally within the company

- Complete daily reporting to identify and review potential fraudulent activity

- Complete the Monthly Fraud Report for communication to goeasy Leadership Teams

- Communicate Fraud Alerts regarding ongoing fraudulent activity for other teams and departments

- Communicate with third parties where required for the purpose of fraud investigations (customers, employers, police officers, etc)

- Proactive identification of improved fraud related processes, policies, and technology

What we are looking for:

- High level of computer literacy, Intermediate to Advance skill level in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to make decisions independently

- Reflect a positive and mature attitude towards teammates and peers
