Key Responsibilities
• Conduct decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments
• Test the function of medical devices prior to distribution
• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Utilize and maintain MDR equipment properly
• Implement infection control measures consistently
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 education
• Successful completion of a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Program
• Relevant experience in the field preferred
• Understanding of microbiology and infection control practices
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing Leverage your skills and contribute to high-quality care at Nova Scotia Health.
