The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help us scale Jobgether’s core platform, from our Astro-based frontend to our backend services and data pipelines. You will work across the stack and ship features end to end: spec, build, test, deploy.

This role is for someone who likes simplicity, clean architecture, and fast iteration. You’ll work directly with the CTO and play a key part in shaping our technical direction as we grow.

What You’ll Work On

Frontend (Astro + JS/TS)

- Own the development of our Astro-based frontend and component system.

- Improve performance, SEO, and UI consistency across the platform.

- Implement user-facing features: dashboards, onboarding, job matching flows, profile tools.

Backend (Python + APIs + integrations)

- Build and maintain API endpoints and microservices.

- Work on our matching engine, ML-powered features, and data-processing tools.

- Improve reliability, logging, and overall system stability.

Architecture & Infra

- Help simplify and evolve our architecture as usage grows.

- Improve deployment workflows and automate repetitive tasks.

- Contribute to decisions around scalability, caching, and data pipelines.

Collaboration

- Work closely with product, design, and data teams.

- Participate in planning, give technical input, and turn specs into working solutions.

- Bring a pragmatic approach: build what matters, avoid unnecessary complexity.

What You Bring

- 5+ years of experience as a full stack or backend-focused engineer.

- Strong JS/TS fundamentals and experience with modern frameworks.

- Solid Python experience and ability to build clean APIs.

- Experience with SQL databases and basic DevOps practices.

- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and own features end to end.

- Good communication skills.

- Fluent in English.

- Experience with Astro is a strong plus. If you haven’t used Astro yet, you must be comfortable ramping up quickly.
