Senior Full Stack Engineer

Sequencr AI is on a mission to reshape how modern marketing and communications teams operate through intelligent, AI‑driven solutions. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will lead the development and ongoing operation of Sequencr’s proprietary AI platform. This role is primarily focused on hands‑on application development, while also taking ownership of cloud infrastructure, deployments, and platform reliability. You will work across the full stack to build scalable, secure, and high‑performing systems, while ensuring the platform is production‑ready and operationally sound. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver a robust platform aligned with Sequencr’s vision and client needs. This role is approximately 75 percent full‑stack development and 25 percent DevOps and cloud operations. As an early‑stage company, we’re operating lean, and ideal candidates are motivated by ownership, creativity, and the opportunity to shape an emerging product and team from the ground up. Compensation includes a mix of cash and equity. Key Responsibilities Platform Development: Build, enhance, and maintain Sequencr’s AI language model platform to meet scalability, security, performance, and reliability benchmarks. Full‑Stack Engineering: Develop and manage both front‑end and back‑end systems, ensuring seamless integration, well‑designed APIs, and user‑friendly interfaces. AI Integration: Collaborate with AI specialists to integrate small language models and related AI functionality into the platform, supporting the needs of marketing and communications professionals. Customization and Scalability: Design the platform to support client‑specific customization while maintaining a scalable and maintainable core architecture. Cloud Infrastructure: Implement, manage, and optimise cloud‑based services on AWS, Google Cloud, or similar platforms to ensure reliable, secure, and cost‑effective operations. DevOps and Deployment: Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and environment management. Ensure smooth releases, infrastructure stability, and efficient development workflows. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while enforcing best practices across the development lifecycle, including testing and code reviews. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, AI specialists, and other stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business objectives. Innovation: Stay current with trends in full‑stack development, DevOps tooling, cloud technologies, and AI integration to continuously improve the platform. Security Compliance: Implement strong security measures across application and infrastructure layers to protect user data and ensure compliance with privacy and security standards. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a full‑stack engineer with hands‑on responsibility for production systems and cloud infrastructure. Strong proficiency in front‑end and back‑end technologies such as React, Next.js with App Router, Tailwind CSS, CSS, Typescript, Docker and Docker Compose, Node.js, Python, FastAPI or similar frameworks. Solid experience with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL. Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS. Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring, and infrastructure management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to design, debug, and optimise complex systems. Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working effectively with cross‑functional teams. Familiarity with best practices in application security, cloud security, and data privacy.
