Lead the EHS function for Aecon as a Senior Director in Calgary, Alberta. This key role focuses on driving safety and compliance across major infrastructure projects and teams. Aecon is looking for a Senior EHS Director to guide our environmental, health, and safety efforts. This position requires at least ten years of experience in EHS within the construction sector, specifically in high-hazard environments. You will manage EHS performance, ensure adherence to regulations, and enhance safety culture among project teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as principal EHS leader for the sector
• Drive implementation of the Aecon EHS Management System
• Coach operational leaders on safety best practices
• Conduct major incident investigations and ensure compliance
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders

Requirements:
• Minimum ten years in EHS role in construction
• Relevant post-secondary education in EHS or related field
• Experience leading EHS teams across multiple sites
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
