Our diverse case mix will engage your clinical skills and critical thinking. As a regional tertiary hub, manage an array of conditions—from chronic diseases and acute issues to complex geriatric and trauma cases. Provide compassionate care across the lifespan, coordinating specialty care for pediatric, adult, and elderly patients.
Serve the varied needs of our richly diverse population, including Indigenous communities who have called this land home since time immemorial, as well as new Canadians beginning their lives in our country. Expect continual stimulation from seasonal fluctuations and regional variations that shape our caseload.

Stay clinically sharp through supported conferences and CME reimbursement. Share your expertise with 12 family practice residents, UBC 3rd-year clerks, and 4th-year visiting students. For hospitalists passionate about teaching, these academic partnerships allow you to impart valued insights while refining your own skills through mentoring.
