Your role

Your mission is to be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field. It will be your mission to support Atlas Copco Rental's growth strategy as the leader in oil‑free air rental business in North America.

As Field Service Technician, you will report directly to the Customer Service Manager and will have the following mission points:

- Maintain the fleet in the field
- Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
- Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
- Improve measurable success to business targets
- Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software

Qualifications

- 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic
- Appropriate electromechanical degree or training
- Demonstrated expertise in maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
- Good command in English; second language knowledge is a bonus
- High energy levels
- Expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending and kneeling

Job location

As a FST, you will be based in our store in Acheson, Alberta, Canada. You will travel to customer sites within this region. This position is hybrid as you will not always come into the store every day.
