Le modèle de la Commission de la sécurité professionnelle et de l'assurance contre les accidents du travail (WSIB) combine le travail à domicile, au bureau et sur le terrain.

Au sujet du poste:

Diriger les activités de retour au travail à l'égard des cas à risque dans le but de favoriser l'obtention de bons résultats de retour au travail. S'assurer que des résultats de retour au travail appropriés et viables sont atteints au moyen d'une coordination personnalisée des bons services au bon moment et de l'application d'une approche axée sur la clientèle. Obtenir des résultats optimaux et favoriser des pratiques de retour au travail exemplaires en fournissant des services innovants et spécialisés.

D'un point de vue pratique, vous auriez les responsabilités suivantes:

- Renseigner la personne blessée ou malade et son employeur sur le processus de retour au travail et éduquer les deux parties du lieu de travail sur leurs droits et obligations.
- Déterminer les obstacles à l'égard du retour au travail et les interventions nécessaires à l'atteinte des résultats fructueux en matière de retour au travail.
- Aider la personne blessée ou malade et son employeur à élaborer un programme de retour au travail visant l'emploi d'avant la lésion, avec ou sans adaptations.
- Fournir des conseils de spécialiste, une planification de la réadaptation professionnelle et un soutien à la personne blessée ou malade et à son employeur pour coordonner le retour au travail, qui peut inclure d'autres adaptations et(ou) une transition vers un autre emploi chez son employeur ou chez un nouvel employeur si nécessaire.

Tâches et responsabilités majeures:

- Représenter, promouvoir et cultiver la marque phare de la Commission de la sécurité professionnelle et de l'assurance contre les accidents du travail (WSIB) à l'égard du retour au travail en faisant ce qui suit:
- Recommander et appliquer de manière professionnelle des pratiques internes, fondées sur les preuves et soutenues par l'industrie, qui mènent à des résultats de retour au travail optimaux et favorisent la prévention des lésions et des maladies, et éduquer à ce sujet;
- Respecter des exigences professionnelles collectives ou individuelles ayant trait aux titres de compétences acceptés par la WSIB.
- Appliquer une approche axée sur la clientèle et éduquer les parties du lieu de travail et la clientèle sur ce qui suit:
- La gestion des invalidités, les pratiques et les principes de retour au travail, les avantages d'un retour au travail rapide et sécuritaire, le processus de retour au travail, les droits et les obligations des entreprises et du personnel aux termes de la Loi sur la sécurité professionnelle et l'assurance contre les accidents du travail et des politiques pertinentes;
- Évaluer et interpréter les besoins de chaque cas en faisant ce qui suit:
- Recueillir des renseignements sous l'angle de la gestion des invalidités, utiliser une approche holistique et travailler en collaboration avec les clientèles interne et externe.
- Planifier, rendre et communiquer des décisions des manières suivantes:
- Collaborer avec les clientèles interne et externe, les représentantes et représentants, les partenaires communautaires de la santé ainsi que les prestataires/ressources connexes;
- Exercer les fonctions requises en ce qui a trait à la gestion du programme de retour au travail et du nombre de dossiers, y compris en faisant ce qui suit:
- Mettre en œuvre un système efficace de suivi et de documentation afin d'assurer la gestion optimale du nombre de dossiers.

Exigences de l'emploi

- Diplôme universitaire de premier cycle avec l'une des spécialisations suivantes:
- Gestion des invalidités;
- Sciences de la santé (soins infirmiers, physiothérapie, kinésiologie, ergothérapie);
- Réhabilitation professionnelle;
- Détention du titre de spécialiste agréée ou spécialiste agréé en gestion d'invalidité.
