As Experience Designer on the AEC Solutions team, you will be an innovative futurist and creative problem-solver who shapes how customers utilize generative AI. You will be part of a versatile group building cutting-edge foundation models and generative AI tools for the AEC industry. You will be responsible for researching, designing and validating novel AI workflows and features for Autodesk's software products. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the direction of Generative AI at Autodesk.This role reports to the experience design manager for AEC Platform Experience and Analytics.**Responsibilities** Rapidly develop and test visionary experience design concepts internally and with select customers. Research user interface trends and the potential impact of new technologies on the user experience.**Minimum Qualifications** 5+ years of related professional user experience design and user research experienceDemonstrated experience working in/designing for complex B2B/technical platform experiencesDeep knowledge of AEC customer workflows and recognized leadership in the experience design of BIM and 3D applications First-hand experience with 3D tools and building geometry workflows like Revit, Forma, or other 3D canvas tools.Depth of understanding in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related experience design patterns (i.e. prompting and dialog experiences, presenting generated outputs, and/or simplifying complex data experiences into conversational patterns, etc.).Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceStrong facilitation skills and a bias towards action in agile, fast-moving environments.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas and optimistically reframe design challenges.**Preferred Qualifications** Experience using tools and workflows that are supported by AI Experience in the AEC lifecycle and with Autodesk tools like Revit, AutoCAD, and Forma Experience with data science and/or machine learning engineering Experience implementing personalized and dynamic user experiences
