Responsibilities:

- At start of project reviews, quotations and plans for completion date, budget, construction schedule and processes, staffing requirements, sub-trades
- Leads, communicates continuously with the site supervisor to ensure that all construction activities are progressing according to terms-of-reference
- Budget and timelines (checklists, supply lists, delivery dates, etc.)
- Continuously ensures strict and timely management and control of all assignment expenses, billings, extras, change orders and construction costs
- Reviews construction documents /shop drawings for consistency with our client’s professional and quality standards
- Assists Estimation with the development of bid packages, communication with approved list of bidders, qualification
- Assign and negotiate contract to sub-contractions making sure they have the latest version of documents
- Responsible for maintaining cost tracking database for all new construction projects
- Directs, coordinates and communicates changes to constructions and equipment that are required due to cost, clarification, code requirements, and also negotiate needed order changes as required
- Updates and manages all of the processes (checklists, supply lists, delivery dates, etc.) required to efficiently execute projects
- Manages project turnover from the construction phase to the finished product Setup Team including orientation walk throughs of spaces and systems with all participants involved, Landlord and City approval coordination, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information
- Performs other tasks and duties requested by the Senior Project Manager

Requirements:

- Interior design/construction experience
- Commercial, industrial, retail experience
- Fluent bilingualism is required

This is a permanent full time position in office.

Notre client, un entrepreneur général national, est à la recherche d'un JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER pour rejoindre son équipe en pleine croissance.

Responsabilités :

- Au début du projet, examiner les devis et les plans pour la date d'achèvement, le budget, le calendrier et les processus de construction, les besoins en personnel et les sous-traitants.
- Diriger et communiquer continuellement avec le superviseur du site pour s'assurer que toutes les activités de construction progressent conformément aux termes de référence, le budget et les échéanciers
- Assurer en permanence une gestion et un contrôle stricts et opportuns de toutes les dépenses de mission, des facturations, des extras, des ordres de modification et des coûts de construction.
- Examiner les documents de construction et les dessins d'atelier pour s'assurer qu'ils sont conformes aux normes professionnelles et de qualité de notre client.
- Assister le service des estimations dans l'élaboration des dossiers d'appel d'offres, la communication avec la liste approuvée des soumissionnaires, la qualification, etc.
- Assigner et négocier les contrats avec les sous-traitants en s'assurant qu'ils disposent de la dernière version des documents.
- Responsable du maintien de la base de données de suivi des coûts pour tous les nouveaux projets de construction.
- Diriger, coordonner et communiquer les changements à apporter aux constructions et aux équipements en raison du coût, de la clarification, des exigences du code, et négocier les changements de commande nécessaires, le cas échéant.
- Mettre à jour et gérer tous les processus (listes de contrôle, listes de fournitures, dates de livraison, etc.) requis pour exécuter efficacement les projets.
- Gérer la rotation des projets de la phase de construction à l'équipe de montage du produit fini, y compris les visites d'orientation des espaces et des systèmes avec tous les participants concernés, la coordination des approbations du propriétaire et de la ville, etc.
- Responsable du maintien de la discrétion en ce qui concerne toutes les informations confidentielles/sensibles de l'entreprise et des clients.
- Effectuer d'autres tâches et fonctions demandées par le chef de projet principal.

Exigences :

- Expérience en conception/construction d'intérieur
- Expérience dans le domaine commercial, industriel et de la vente au détail
- Bilinguisme courant requis

Il s'agit d'un poste permanent à temps plein dans un bureau.
