The Consultant provides solutions for workforce planning and employment strategies issues including collective agreement interpretation, union negotiation, recruitment and retention strategies, organizational change, layoff, hiring, human rights, provincial labour law related to employment applications, in-scope and out-of-scope job evaluation and classification, salary administration, market supplements, immigration, diversity and inclusion, representative workforce, organizational design, workforce optimization and health human resource planning.Human Resources Exemption: NoExperience3-5 years' experience in Human ResourcesOther Education and TrainingHuman Resources certificate is acceptableLicensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicableBusiness Administration diploma is acceptableUndergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBachelor of Commerce is acceptableCompetenciesAnalytical skillsCapability to transform systems: Encourage and support innovationCritical thinking skillsMobilizes people, inspires and leads by exampleKnowledge and AbilitiesAbility to lead and coach othersExemplifies ethical practices, professionalism and personal integrityKnowledge in the Saskatchewan health care systemCommitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harmKnowledge in applicable human resource functions and disciplinesKnowledge in First Nation and Metis history in SaskatchewanKnowledge in applicable legislation and standardsProven ability to collaborate and partner with a wide variety of stakeholdersKnowledge in organization's goals, vision, mission and valuesStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt to and implement changeCommitted to delivering on patient and family centred careCommitment to a diverse, representative workforce and cultural safetyKnowledge in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to ActionOther InformationValid Class 5 driver's licenseTravel within Saskatchewan Location dependent on successful applicant and operational needs
