Volume Performance Test Automation Manager

Our client, a worldwide leader in healthcare solutions has engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to help them recruit a Volume Performance Test Automation Manager. ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions complemented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.
You will be responsible for driving and delivering a successful implementation, deployment and operations of an automated and repeatable Volume and Performance test process. This will provide input/feedback to the R&D organization on the performance metrics and scalability of newly developed products, as well as providing input to portfolio management with respect to the IT platforms. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with R&D, 3rd party product management, Solutions management and 3rd parties (partners). The incumbent will report to the Global Platform Design & Validation (PD&V) manager in a functional matrix organization.
You Will
1. Successfully develop a methodology for V&P test automation for our client’s products.
2. Work in close collaboration and provide design input specifications to the development teams, ensuring correct implementation of the V&P methodology in our client’s products, integrated as an intrinsic part of the instrumentation code.
3. Deploy the repeatable and automated process within R&D testing Services.
4. Conduct V&P tests in close collaboration with 3rd party partners on whose products typical customer projects will be deployed.
5. Closely collaborate with the PD&V platform and storage experts towards standardization.
6. Ensure proper definition and follow-up of the V&P test plan execution for the different products, in order to obtain relevant results that provide added value to the field as well as to R&D.
7. Deliver the validation results to the organization, according the Solution Lifecycle Process / Unified Production Process (SLP / UPP) in close cooperation with the PD&V team, Testing Services and Development.
8. Streamline Performance and Scalability knowledge transfer to the organization through formal channels in order to reduce ad-hoc support and design requests.
You Must Have
1. A minimum of 5 years experience in Volume and Performance test methodology or IT performance test automation, preferably in a medical image management environment.
2. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering and/or equivalent experience.
3. Strong skills and experience with automated testing methodologies and tools such as LoadRunner, IOmeter, nistnet, etc.
4. Experience with IT platforms such as Sun Solaris servers (SPARC), Wintel platforms, Oracle, MS SQL, as well as the latest technologies such as virtualization, networking and storage technologies.
5. Strong oral and written English communication skills as well as good presentation skills.
6. Work methodically and according to plan.
7. Good organization skills and are prepared to work in a flexible environment.
8. Team player in an international team.
