Salary Range: $47.59 - $56.00 /hour

Working as a member of the Finance team, the Business Consultant provides key leadership in the integration and enhancement of technology to support the Finance vision and strategic goals. The incumbent will be a driver of innovation, creativity and change using technology to shape and transform work within the Finance team and the clients we support.

As a Finance technology functional and business lead, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a variety of Finance systems including but not limited to General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Project Costing and Payroll. The incumbent will provide quality improvement, leadership and support within the Finance department consistent with strategic and operational standards and goals.

Working with both internal and external stakeholders, the Business Consultant will support the development of structures and processes to advance quality and improve system integration. The position also works with other internal Quality departments to provide education and training on quality improvement methodologies and other principles to advance the strategic goals of the department.

Essential Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Computer Science or Accounting with 3-5 years related and relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of accounting processes and procedures and best practice business performance
- Systems and database architecture knowledge to enhance performance and improve processes
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence decisions
- Presentation and leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of St Joseph's hospital chart or accounting structure, financial reporting and Ministry reporting requirements preferred
- Knowledge of change management and project management practices
- Thorough understanding of the Oracle E-Business database including expertise of all tables and fields

Preferred Qualifications

- Proficiency in French would be an asset.
- Master of Health Administration (MHA)

- St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St. Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties.

Immunization Requirements

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing.
