Senior Financial Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic decision‑making through insightful financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic business partner to property operations, streamline processes, and champion continuous improvement within the property management finance function.

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for an assigned group of properties from CLV’s portfolio.

- Translate financial data into clear, actionable strategies that improve operational efficiency, occupancy, and NOI growth.

- Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and property owners.

- Coordinate with external accountants and provide support during year‑end financial statement preparation and reporting.

Strategic Support & Business Partnering

- Collaborate closely with property management teams to understand financial performance, highlight trends, and address financial implications of operational decisions.

- Act as a financial business partner, building relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline processes, manage cash flow, and ensure effective financial governance.

- Partner with the property management maintenance team to report weekly work order and renovation metrics and help identify trends or areas of focus for properties in our portfolio.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering professional growth and strengthening the financial acumen within the team.

- Participate in ad hoc financial projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

- CPA designation or equivalent strongly preferred.

- 5–7 years of progressive financial analysis experience, preferably within real estate, property management, or related industry.

- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

- Proven ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach to stakeholder management.

- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting financial information effectively to diverse audiences.

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

- Advanced proficiency with financial systems; Yardi experience is a significant asset.
