Student Programs and Build Employer Relationships
CPA Ontario is currently in search of a highly skilled Employer Relations Specialist who will support the department in the assessment of all low-risk practical experience reports submitted through the profession’s online Practical Experience Reporting Tool (PERT).In this role,you will providesupport to large employers on student compliance issues, lead student advisement calls and host presentations for employers and students.
WhatYou’llBeDoing:
Assessinglow-risk practical experience reports, includingpre-assessments and all pre-approved programassessments.
Providing support to pre-approved program employers by hosting weekly, biweekly, and/or monthly calls outlining any compliance issues with their students.
Preparing and hosting presentations to employers and students.
Leading advisement calls with pre-approved programstudents.
Assisting with projects that directly relate to pre-approved student training programs.
WhoYouAre:
A post-secondary graduate witha minimum of 3years ofexperience reviewing orperformingassessments.
Familiar with thepractical experience standards,policies,and practices, as well as how all experienceinformation should be captured in PERT by stakeholders.
A demonstrated critical thinker with strong judgment, and problem-solving skills combined with a high degree of attention to accuracy and detail.
Digitally fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
Astrongcommunicator (verbally and written) with excellentinterpersonal,presentation,relationship building, customer serviceand negotiatingskills.
