The Role

In this position, you will play a key role in developing municipal projects from the proposal stage through design, construction, and final delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop designs for municipal infrastructure projects including stormwater management, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, linear infrastructure, land development, flood protection, and recreational and waterfront facilities.
  • Prepare and review technical proposals and design work packages in response to client requests.
  • Work with and provide guidance to junior staff.
  • Participate in and promote KGS Group's safety-first culture.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a good mix of qualifications and experience, including:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Diploma in Municipal Engineering Technology.
  • Eng. or Eng.L. designation.
  • 4-10 years of related work experience in the planning, design, and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with municipal analysis software would be considered favorably.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Working knowledge of relevant municipal and guidance documents.
