We are looking for a Sales Strategist to join our Retail Media network team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
Here's where you'll be focusing:
- Develop and maintain sales collateral (e.g., pitch decks, discovery decks, inventory guide, advertiser guidelines) to support the sales team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, ad product, and data science.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales, National Sourcing, and product teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and materials with overall business objectives.
- Tailor client proposals to address specific client needs and opportunities, ensuring they are compelling and relevant to the specific account based on sales insights, historical performance, and industry trends.
- Provide account insights: Collaborate with retail insights data specialists to provide actionable insights for accounts that inform sales tactics and performance.
- Proactively prospect new opportunities for existing advertisers not buying media or upselling existing advertisers.
What you have to offer:
- 3+ years of work experience in a sales strategy-related role at an agency, adtech company, media network, or media publisher.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, including different campaign objectives (e.g., conversion, awareness), advertising formats (video, search, banner), and placements (e.g., on site, on email, in-store).
- Experience developing sales collateral at an agency, adtech, media network, or media publisher.
- Familiarity with retailer / grocer / CPG.
