MarTech Developer – Customer Engagement Platforms

You will be joining CIBC's Investor Edge Marketing team. Aa Martech Developer, you show deep expertise in **Braze CRM implementations** and **front-end development** to help us increase interactions with clients and deepen client engagement. You will be responsible for leading the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and provide enhancements to existing technologies. As MarTech Developer you combine **strong coding and integration** skills with a solid understanding of cross-channel messaging (email, push, in-app, SMS). This role focuses on building seamless, data-driven customer experiences through **Braze SDKs, APIs, and responsive design**.* **Design & Development** - Design, develop, and maintain Braze integrations using Braze Web, SDKs, APIs, and Currents. Develop accessible emails using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring consistent rendering across clients (Gmail, Outlook, etc.).* **Technical Solution** - Implement liquid templating and dynamic content logic for highly personalized messaging. Turn visual designs from Figma into pixel-perfect, mobile-first HTML/CSS templates. Work on Angular-based front-end modules that interact with Braze APIs for personalized experiences. Develop custom middleware, scripts, or utilities (Node.js, Python) for automation, campaign management, and data sync. Ensure accessibility compliance, UX/UI quality, and cross-device performance for all CRM assets. Use project management tools (JIRA) for collaboration and delivery tracking* **Integrate** -Integrate Braze features such as content cards, in-app messages, and push notifications for web and mobile apps.* **Collaboration -** Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate event mapping, audience segmentation, and data synchronization. Work with marketing and service teams to translate CRM strategy into technical execution, ensuring scalability and compliance.* **Test & Validate** -Debug, test, and validate messaging workflows using simulators/emulators (Xcode, Android Studio).* **You demonstrate 5–8 years of professional experience** in CRM software development or MarTech engineering. Preferred Certification or advanced training in Braze, or similar tools CRM tools. Experience with Liquid templating, marketing analytics, and personalization logic. Background in Martech stack architecture or growth engineering.* **You have hands-on experience** with Braze Web SDK, REST APIs, and Liquid personalization.* **You are digital savvy**. Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design. Working knowledge of Angular or similar front-end frameworks. Experience integrating email, push, and in-app messaging across web and mobile ecosystems.* **You show familiarity with** email accessibility standards, testing tools, and rendering optimization. Basic understanding of Photoshop or graphic design tools for image optimization (e.g., cropping). Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
