We require an exceptional CareManagerwho will assist in growing and managing a team of motivated, compassionate Carers in your assigned area. You will be fully supported by our Platinum Support Centre.
As the successful candidate, you will be highly motivated to oversee and assist in providing high quality care to vulnerable people.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure efficient and effective management of carer on-boarding, carer rosters, carer training/development and overall carer welfare with the support of your Regional Manager and Platinum Support Office.
- Confidently deliver Platinum 20-hour Carer Induction Training ensuring Carers are sufficiently prepared and trained in advance of providing care to all clients in your assigned area.
- Using One Touch Care Management software, monitor all daily activities with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and compliance at every level. Take any action required under your remit and elevate as needed.
- Using One Touch Care Management Software, communicate closely with the Support Office regarding Scheduling runs, Client Care and HSE communication.
- Take responsibility for identifying, monitoring and managing training needs within your team, by implementing a career development path in line with the Platinum Homecare HR strategy.
- Ensure Client Quality Assurance reviews are carried out and recorded in line with Platinum Homecare and HSE Standards.
- Flexibility to take responsibility for all reasonable duties that support the provision of the highest level of care by Platinum Homecare.
Requirements
- QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (or higher)
- 3-5 years’ experience in Home Care or Community Care Sector in a Supervisory or Management role
- Experience in using One Touch Care Management software is preferable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well organised and process driven
