SUMMARY
Under general supervision, the Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, andrepairing manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
JOB DUTIES
- Conducts regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and fixtures.
- Meets with clients to better understand their concerns and identify the issue.
- Examines machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
- Maintains work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
- Helps carry out a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
- Assembles mechanical components according to specifications.
- Maintains equipment parts inventory and orders parts as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE This job typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero (0) to two (2) years ofexperience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Work effectively with customers, peers, and management to resolve issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
