What you will be doing

- Own the strategic product & technical roadmap for new complex systems aligning to corporate objectives and modernization efforts.
- Lead and develop a 17-person cross-functional technical squad (Developers, BAs, QA, etc.) delivering complex software systems.
- Drive modernization of legacy systems, overseeing rebuilds, and migration to a modern tech stack.
- Implement and mature CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, automation, and engineering excellence standards.
- Champion Agile ways of working: backlog prioritization, user story quality, and squad rituals.
- Mentor and upskill teams through ongoing organizational and technology transformation.
- Serve as a cultural leader who inspires, aligns, and elevates the maturity of the group and the broader organization.

What you must have

- Seasoned Director-level experience leading technical teams; not a step-up role.
- Deep application development background (role is not hands-on) with strong understanding of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, pipelines, automation, DevSecOps).
- Proven experience in large-scale technology modernization and transforming legacy systems to modern architectures and processes.
- Strong product management orientation: Agile squads, backlogs, user stories, product roadmaps, stakeholder prioritization.
- Demonstrated ability to translate corporate strategy into a technology + product execution plan.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams (Dev, QA, BA).

Salary/Rate Range: $120,200 – $188,000
