Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a part-time Clinical Pharmacist- Infusion to join our team at Sandstones Pharmacies Glenmore Landing in Calgary, AB.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities

- Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
- Infusion medicine related skills (knowledge about osteoporosis, iron deficiency specifically)
- Administer vaccines and immunizations
- Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
- Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
- Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacist
- Injection certification is required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
