4AG Robotics is excited to welcome a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Salmon Arm, BC. In this role, you will take the lead in analyzing current processes, designing cutting-edge manufacturing solutions, and implementing strategies that enhance efficiency and drive labour savings across our operations. What you'll do
1. Analyze and recommend technological solutions to reduce expenses and improve cost structure.
2. Work with mechanical design engineers to reduce costs through DFM.
3. Lead Process FMEAs and assist quality engineering with control plans and incoming quality control.
4. Lead from a Manufacturing Engineering Role, multiple Product Development and pre-production projects, involving individuals from various departments.
5. Develop manufacturing plans to ensure quality projects are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Write functional requirements and test plans for sub-systems, as well as work on production issues.
7. Conduct training on quality assurance and manufacturing engineering concepts to assembly workers, lead and implement quality controls throughout manufacturing processes.
8. Utilize warehouse and labor management systems.
9. Assist operations and supply chain in the selection and integration of contract manufacturer(s) with 4AG Robotics.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, with training and/or experience in manufacturing excellence. Six-sigma certification would be an asset.
2. Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in an assembly manufacturing environment, preferably in robotics, including large assembly structures with conveyor systems, coaching and working with assembly workers.
3. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
4. Knowledge of ERP systems Arena is preferable, as well as quality management systems (QMS), development of Process FMEAs and Control Plans.
5. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

The pay range for this role is: 65,000 - 90,000 CAD per year (Salmon Arm)
