Description

Are you a creative thinker with a passion for design and user experience? Do you love turning ideas into intuitive, beautiful interfaces? Join our design team and help shape digital experiences that empower the Vietnamese community in Vancouver while building your portfolio and design career.

We are Viet Vibe Foundation , a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering creativity, innovation, and community engagement in Vancouver. We connect the community through sports, music, and arts.

You'll be part of our product and development team, whose mission is to build meaningful, user-centered digital experiences. Our team values creativity, collaboration, and curiosity. We’re looking for passionate entry-level designers ready to learn and make an impact.

What You’ll Do

- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with developers to bring designs to life.
- Apply user-centered design principles to solve real-world problems.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to improve experiences.
- Design consistent interfaces following style guides and brand identity.
- Continuously iterate based on feedback and data.

Nice to have:

- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or a strong self-taught portfolio).
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Ability to create and work with design systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio showcasing your design thinking and UI/UX projects (school/personal projects are welcome).
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced designers and developers.
- Hands-on experience with real projects for a meaningful cause.
- Remote-friendly and flexible working environment.
- Opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team.
- A chance to make a real impact on the community.
