OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN (OPTICIAN OR SCIENCE GRADUATE) | Winnipeg

Your tasks at a glance

- You complete preoperative and postoperative measurements, offering clear explanations to patients throughout the process.

- You review imaging maps to validatetheir accuracy.

- You are knowledgeable about procedures and technologies available in the clinic.

- You provide outstanding customer service and patient care.

A clear view of your assets

- You are a graduate of a Bachelor's program in science (Bsc), an Opticianry program (license not required), a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), or a Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT).

- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).

- You are motivated tolearn how to use various diagnostic and testingtools.

- You have excellent communication skills in English.

- Your experience in an eye-care environment is an asset.

- Required: You are comfortable traveling to other clinics for training (expenses covered by Vision Group).

- Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday through Friday (8:00 am-4:00 pm), as well as Saturday (8:00 am-4:00 pm) on a rotating basis and occasional Sunday mornings.
