The Group Benefits Business Analytics & Advice team is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to independently generate and coordinate reports for internal and external Customers and Advisors. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand the data demands of the Group Benefits business while gaining hands-on learning and support from the Business Analytics team. The successful candidate will engage with customers, respond to reporting needs, and support data governance within the Group Benefits area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to gather and understand data requirements.
- Prioritize and fulfill reporting requests in a timely manner, escalating issues when necessary.
- Create reports that address customer needs while continuously expanding technical and Group Benefits knowledge.
- Collaborate with Business Analytics and Advice team members to enhance report creation processes.
- Act as the first line of defense for Group Benefits data governanc e and integrity.
Required Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience; open to recent graduates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Team-oriented with a commitment to quality work and excellent customer service.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships internally and externally.
- Familiarity with change management and deployment cycles is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience writing SQL queries to support reporting needs.
- Background in managing high-volume or recurring report generation.
Education:
- Undergraduate degree, preferably with a focus or interest in data analytics, business analytics, or related fields.
