Aquatic Programmer Job Description

Reporting to the Recreation Supervisor - Aquatics, the Aquatic Programmer oversees the delivery of aquatic programs, offers leadership and guidance to part-time staff and volunteers, along with providing exceptional customer service to patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee learn to swim, recreational swim, and user group programming in accordance with Lifesaving Society standards and City of Guelph expectations.
  • Maintain and enforce high safety standards at all times.
  • Assist in planning and delivery of dynamic recreation programs.
Certifications Required:
  • Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor certifications
  • Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard certification
  • Standard First Aid and CPR certification
