Select Aviation College is looking for a meticulous, creative, and passionate digital communications professional to fill the role of Web Content Manager.

Your role: ensure the consistency, quality, and performance of all content published on our website. You will help showcase the College, its programs, student life, and its mission to train the pilots of tomorrow, while ensuring all content complies with the standards of the Ministry of Education, Transport Canada, and data protection laws.

Responsibilities

Content Management & Creation

- Design, write, update, and optimize website content (information pages, news, program sheets, articles, etc.);
- Ensure consistency in tone, structure, and presentation of content in line with the College’s brand;
- Collaborate with marketing, admissions, training, and student life departments to collect, validate, and publish relevant information;
- Provide web content to be implemented and ensure that once live, everything functions correctly, is compliant, and meets quality and regulatory standards;
- Guarantee content compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (education, aviation, data privacy, etc.);
- Maintain high linguistic quality in both French and English.

Optimization & Performance

- Regularly update the website to maintain relevance and performance;
- Conduct SEO and UX monitoring to improve visibility and user experience;
- Analyze site traffic statistics (Google Analytics or other tools) and propose continuous improvements;
- Collaborate on web and advertising campaigns in alignment with the College’s overall digital strategy;
- Participate in strategic content meetings (planning, editorial calendar, social media integration);
- Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure smooth and consistent communication across all platforms;
- Contribute to the development of internal guides (brand tone, templates, publishing standards).

Profile Wanted

Education & Experience

- College or university degree in communications, digital marketing, journalism, writing, or a related field;
- One to two years of experience (or equivalent) in web content management, digital communications, or digital project coordination;
- Good knowledge of content management systems (CMS), SEO, and web accessibility principles;
- Experience in educational, cultural, event, or youth environments is an asset;
- A portfolio or examples of work is a plus.

Technical Skills

- Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken);
- Basic knowledge of HTML and SEO best practices;
- Proficiency with digital tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft 365, Google Analytics, WordPress, etc.;
- Knowledge of data protection principles and web compliance;
- Understanding of international laws and standards: ability to identify and apply legal and regulatory requirements from different countries, particularly regarding data protection and privacy, ensuring that the flow of leads from the website to the CRM fully complies with these obligations;
- Knowledge of web-optimized writing and user experience (UX) principles.
