Position: Material Handler

Location: Milton, Ontario (100% Onsite)

Shift: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Pay: $24/hr

Duration: 6-month contract (possible extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work from instructions, picking documents, and established routines.

• Verify part numbers and quantities against packing slips.

• Receive and relocate incoming parts, filing receiving paperwork.

• Prepare items for shipment: assemble containers, post weights, affix paperwork.

• Pick, pack, move, wrap, and load skids of various sizes and weights.

• Interface with warehouse office, drivers, and carriers.

• Perform cycle counts, audits, and routine warehouse problem solving.

• Operate lift equipment safely (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Order Picker).

• Support dock activities and assist team members as needed.

• Maintain safety, continuous improvement, and a clean work environment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required.

• Minimum 5 years experience operating Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and Order Picker in warehouse/manufacturing. (Candidates without this experience will not be considered, licenses must be valid and will be verified).

• Must reside within 80 km of Milton, ON (no relocation offered).

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

• Safety-first mindset.

• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, numerical, and organizational skills.

• PC skills including MS Office 365, Outlook, and RF Scanners.

• Effective time management and teamwork.
