Accountabilities

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of frontend and backend systems with a focus on innovative solutions

- Optimize performance across the full technology stack

- Create and maintain reusable components and services

- Plan and execute complex assignments independently while contributing to overall project goals

- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration

- Contribute to improving code quality, processes, and project delivery timelines

Requirements

- 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience in a team environment

- Proficiency with WordPress as a CMS

- Strong skills in full-stack technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, NextJS, and AWS

- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

- Strong understanding of software development at scale and a product mindset

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work in EST timezone

- Positive references from previous managers or teammates

- College degree is a plus

Preferred Skills

- Experience with GCP

- Experience with internationalization and localization

- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
