Work must be done in a safe and efficient manner and comply with all Stackpole International’s Health & Safety policies, procedures and quality systems. Working knowledge with SPS, 5S and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities are required. Work must be done in a safe and efficient manner and comply with all Stackpole International’s Health & Safety policies, procedures and quality systems.## Why You’ll Love Working Here:* **Career Advancement**: Clear career paths and opportunities for advancement within the company.* **Employee Well-being**: Focus on employee health and well-being with various wellness programs and initiatives.* **Sustainability Commitment**: Work for a company committed to sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.* **Inclusive Workplace**: An inclusive and diverse workplace where all employees are valued and respected.## What You’ll Be Doing:* Ensure machines are setup to machine the required parts* Install and remove spindle chucks, collets, drawbars, spindle adaptors and cutting tools as necessary* Index cutting inserts and make size change adjustments to machines as required* Load and unload parts on machines to maintain required production levels* Chart SPC data as determined by process sheet specifications* Ensure that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety Systems are met.* Other duties as required.## What We’re Looking For:***Education and/or Experience:**** High School diploma or equivalent* Computer Numerical Control Machining Program Certificate in progress***Qualifications:**** Must have working knowledge of machining principles and practices* Familiar with CNC controls and programming techniques* Experience working in a manufacturing environment, in the automotive industry is an asset.* Good mathematical and analytical skills* Knowledge of conventional machine methods is an asset* Good interpersonal skills. Able to work well independently or in a team environment* Good communication skills* Strong work ethic and organizational skills* Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality.***Language Skills:**** Proficient in English (both spoken and written)***Work Environment (including Physical Demands):**** Work indoors.
