We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Administrator to join our team

The Commercial Lines Account Administrator is responsible for supporting the Account Managers and Account Executives' administrative needs such as issuing certificates of insurance and liability slips. This role requires the Commercial Lines Account Administrator to help the team deliver seamless service to the clients to maintain Tripemco's high standards for service excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Assist Account Managers and Account Executives on varied tasks by providing prompt, courteous, and professional service.
2. Review new business and renewal applications to ensure they are aligned with the insurance company's guidelines.
3. Ensure timely delivery of all client documentation to Tripemco's insurance partners.
4. Process policy documentation such as new policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations with precision and accuracy.
5. Assist the team in preparing quotations, proposals, binders, and other items as requested.
6. Send "Form Renewal" letters to clients.
7. Code and scan incoming cheques from clients and input payments – credit or issue pay plan through the third-party provider.
8. Advise clients on their options for payment and assist in entering payment information into the Policy Works system.
9. Follow up on payment reminders, outstanding accounts receivables, and cancellations.
10. Provide backup coverage for the team as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

1. RIBO licensed is preferred but not required.
2. 2+ years in an Account Administrator role; commercial lines experience preferred.
3. Computer savvy and proficient with the MS Office Suite of programs, especially Outlook, Excel & Word.
4. A team player with a strong work ethic and excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Experience with PowerBroker and PolicyWorks would be an asset.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize/manage workload under pressure with tight deadlines.
8. Change resilient, flexible worker with the ability to problem-solve with confidence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Additional pay: Retention bonus, Company events, Dental care, Extended health care, On-site parking, Paid time off, RRSP match, Hybrid work option after successful completion of probationary period.

Ability to commute/relocate: Stoney Creek, ON L8G 1C1. Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Experience: Account Administrator: 2 years (preferred), Commercial Lines: 1 year (preferred).

Licence/Certification: RIBO License (preferred).
