As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging is recruiting for a **Process Engineering Specialist** in Waterloo.**Position Summary**The Process Engineering group for the Advanced Imaging department has an opening for a **Process Engineering Specialist** with experience in process design, and the setup of advanced assembly equipment in a clean room environment.The primary focus for the successful candidate for this position will be related to planning manufacturing process flows, designing processes, and creating machine programs for wire bonding, die bonding, wafer dicing and other specialized assembly processes. The successful candidate will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization and control methods, and quality assurance practices.**Position Qualifications:*** Engineering degree or technical diploma.* Creative, flexible, and highly adaptable to novel situations.* Strong knowledge of electronics assembly equipment and related machine programming ability.* Strong problem mitigation and solving skills, including FMEA and RCA.* Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.* Experience with specialized assembly of intricate mechanical, optical, or semiconductor devices.* Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.* Experience with and a firm grasp of statistical and data analysis including SPC, DOE, Factorial Experiment Design, and Regression.* Knowledge of semiconductor and/or electronics manufacturing methods and practices.**ASSETS:*** Knowledge and understanding of optics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, & material science* Knowledge and understanding of lithography techniques* Manual dexterityTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
