As an RECE Educator, you will work under the Manager of Child Care, implementing programs tailored to each child's needs. Your role incorporates fostering communication with staff, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding YMCA policies. You will be a model of excellence in the YMCA community, promoting values of dignity, inclusivity, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
• Create engaging and safe educational environments for children
• Foster self-esteem and conflict resolution skills
• Communicate effectively with fellow staff
• Adhere to YMCA policies and guidelines
• Participate in a team approach to program development
Requirements:
• ECE diploma or CECE recognized equivalency preferred
• Minimum two years of experience with children
• Fluent in English, oral and written
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid permit to work in Canada Utilize your education and compassion to inspire growth in children at YMCA of the National Capital.
