Our project management and execution approach combines the best practices of the PMBoK and RUP methodologies and is currently exploring extending the use of other delivery methodologies such as Agile.

SaskEnergy's Enterprise Security team is tasked with cyber and physical security of assets and actively works with teams that represent Business Applications, Solutions and Architecture, Enterprise Networks, Infrastructure and SCADA along with Project Delivery. Specifically, the Enterprise Security team is approximately 40 SaskEnergy staff and multi-vendor contractors who provide security operations, incident response, initiative/project delivery, business continuity planning, security awareness and culture, compliance, and business continuity services within and for SaskEnergy's Digital, Technology & Security (DT&S).

Position Overview

SaskEnergy is looking for an established senior level project manager (PM) resource to assume the leadership of a portfolio of projects for a one-year term with potential for extension, in the Enterprise Security DT&S group. The PM resource is expected to use their experience and expertise to successfully lead and deliver projects following established practices and templates while ensuring that Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices are being applied and followed. The PM resource will functionally report to the Director of Enterprise Security and will ensure that project processes, procedures, and policies meet Business Application standards and expectations. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. The resource is required on-site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager resource responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Project Communications and Status Reporting
- Scope Management
- Project resource management including internal resources and external vendors
- Management of the overall Project Plan
- Management of project costs and forecasting
- Management of project risks and issues
- Providing assistance and mentorship as required
- Knowledge sharing with peers to ensure progressive realization of improvements within the project management practice at SaskEnergy

NOTE: Above should be clearly detailed within submitted Resume.

The resource will be required to work and be located on-site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm and the proposed hourly rate shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs (PST and GST are extra).

Contract Duration

The Contract will be effective for an initial term commencing on the date of award and ending on March 31, 2025. The Contract will automatically renew for successive one (1) year terms, a maximum of four (4) times.
