The College of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the academic rank of Assistant Professor in Oral Radiology. Responsibilities include delivering didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical teaching; supervising student research projects; initiating, leading, and participating in innovative research programs; competing for internal and external funding; and undertaking relevant administrative activities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical teaching.

Qualifications
- DDS or DMD (or equivalent) degree and specialty training in Oral Radiology.
- A PhD or MSc with a record of research and/or academic accomplishments is strongly preferred.
- Postdoctoral training is an asset.
- Desirable attributes include effective classroom teaching skills, mentoring abilities, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- A strong fit for scholarly activities and collaboration within the College and University research priorities.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary for 2025-2026: Assistant Professor: $110,489 to $131,909. Independent of rank, starting salary above the standard bands is possible in the College of Dentistry.
- Comprehensive benefits package including dental, health, extended vision care, pension, life insurance, long-term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefits, employee assistance program, professional expense allowance, and a flexible health and wellness spending program.
Start-up and Research Support
- Position supported by start-up funds to enable early success in research and scholarship.
- Start-up may include resources for establishing research infrastructure, initiating pilot studies, and advancing scholarly activities aligned with the College’s priorities.
- Funding level and structure depend on experience, research program, and anticipated funding trajectory.
